Scott Sedita Acting Studios

Scott Sedita is known for his comedy/sitcom classes, but he also holds an on-camera audition technique class. He has over 25 years in the business, as a sitcom writer, a casting director and as an acting coach. His Professional Audition Technique class is a 10-week program that covers cold-reading, script analysis and how to market yourself as an actor.

Melissa Skoff

Casting director and acting coach with over 20 years of experience. Audition technique class allows students to perform their scene twice in an actual audition setting. The class is catered to professional actors or those who have had a lot of prior acting classes. Classes are bought monthly and are taught weekly.

Kimberly Jentzen

Her Cold Reading Weekend Intensive is offered about every month, covering script basics, rules of improvisation, monologue work, cold-reading technique and an orientation to “the business”. It also serves as a preliminary course to entering one of her on-going classes.

Amy Lyndon herself has had a successful acting career, with over 40 film credits to her name. She’s used her experience to develop The Lyndon Technique, her 15 step guide to booking jobs. Cold reading class is also designed like an actual audition. Every student works each class.

Lesly Kahn

Lesly Kahn has been teaching in Hollywood since the early nineties. Her studio focuses not on a method but simply on getting actors work, which is why her audition classes are very popular. You don’t hear typical terminology like “action” or “substitution” because her classes are more about getting auditions and booking the job.
